Our Vision

Let's face it, "social media" was created and managed by some of the least social among us. Now, we're not hating on the geeks - we have some geeks of our own and we love them. This platform wouldn't exist without them, but until Taout, social media forced us to passively communicate via text or one way video, and with algorithms as the arbiters of our speech. That led to passive-aggressive behaviors and platforms invaded by manipulative bots.

We all wanted better.

At Taout, you - the humans - are the arbiters of truth, of what's right, of what's smart, of what's valuable or ridiculous.

We are a digital social media live debate and discussion forum where anyone in the world can discuss or debate any topic with anyone else, anytime, face-to-face before a global interactive audience. Our platform supports a free-speech community where all legal speech is allowed, encouraged, well-organized, easy to discover and participate in, and globally interactive to make it more fun. Some might say, "the lack of color," but at Taout, our platform's design is purposefully crafted in black and white, with shades of gray, to symbolize our commitment to nuanced and thoughtful discussion. We recognize that the world isn't simply black and white; the truth often lies within the gray.
